Overview: Ping Camera on the Vivint Sky App
With the Vivint Sky app and your Ping camera, you can take your home with you anywhere. Viewing your Ping camera from the Sky app is easy. From the home screen of the app, tap the camera icon in the bottom navigation bar Tap on your Ping camera The live feed will play and you will have three icons to use from this screen. The center icon is a microphone that allows you to talk through the camera. You can also take a snapshot with the camera icon or access your door locks and security settings with the lock icon. You can turn your phone sideways to view the camera in full screen If you would like to view clips from your Ping camera, tap the Û÷clipsÛª button from the bottom of the live feed menu. You can use the filter option in the top right corner to find specific clips by date. You can also customize the clips that are recorded and the notifications that you receive by following these steps: From the view of your Ping camera live feed, tap the settings icon in the top right corner You can toggle on or off recordings for motion detection here To access notifications, tap the menu icon from the top left corner and then tap Û÷Custom ActionsÛª Toggle over to Û÷NotificationsÛª and scroll down to the camera section. You can toggle on or off the notifications or create a new notification by tapping the plus icon in the top right corner. You can also toggle over to rules and create system triggered video recordings for your Ping camera. For example, you can have your camera record every time the front door opens.
