How to: Ping 2-Way Talk

Ping 2-Way Talk Your Vivint Ping Camera enables you to stay connected to your home and family, even when you are away. Follow the steps in this video to learn how to use the Ping two-way talk feature. From the home screen of the Vivint Sky app, tap the camera icon from the bottom navigation bar. If you have multiple cameras, scroll up or down to find the thumbnail for your Ping and select it. The live feed will begin to play and the microphone icon will turn black when it is ready to use. Press and hold the microphone icon to speak through your Ping. Release the icon when you are done speaking. At home, the Ping camera LED light will change from white to blue to let people in the home know that you are attempting to speak with them. Make sure that your phone‰Ûªs volume is turned up so that you can hear the audio from your Ping. To initiate a one touch callout from the Ping, simply go to the camera and press the button on the top. All admin users that have the Vivint Smart Home app downloaded and are logged in to your system will receive a notification on their mobile phone. The Ping LED light will change to a breathing blue and make a ringing sound while calling out. Once an admin user opens the live feed on their app, the LED light will change to solid blue to indicate that the two-way conversation is established. The Ping LED will return to white when you are done talking and the admin closes the live feed view in their app. You can also use your SkyControl panel to talk to people in different parts of your home using your Ping. From the home screen of your SkyControl panel, tap the camera icon in the bottom navigation bar Tap the thumbnail for your Ping camera Just like from the app, press and hold the microphone icon to speak through the Ping camera.
