When arming your system, you will be prompted to bypass any sensors that are currently open, such as the back door
Bypassing the sensor means that the system will ignore any activity with that particular sensor while the system is armed
For example, if you would like to arm the system to stay, but the kids will be using the back door to go out and play, you can bypass the back door sensor
To manually bypass a sensor, tap the menu icon from the home screen
Then tap ‘Settings,’ ‘Security’ and ‘Bypass sensors’
Select the sensor that you would like to bypass
The sensor will be bypassed until the next time you disarm the system
