How to Recalibrate Your Smart Lock If your smart lock seems to be catching or not locking all of the way, you can recalibrate the lock by following these steps. Go to the door with your smart lock and open it so that you can access both sides of the lock Slide the cover up and off of the lock to expose the battery pack Grip the battery from the top and slide it out of the lock Press the lock button once to fully drain the power Then, hold the lock button while you replace the battery pack at the same time. The lock will beep and lock and unlock a few times to recalibrate
