SkyControl 2.0: Manage Users

Add/Remove Users Skycontrol 2.0 Managing the users that have access to your home is an effective way to monitor who is coming and going and who can access your Vivint system remotely. To add a new user, follow these steps on your SkyControl display: From the home screen, tap the menu icon Then tap ‰Û÷Settings‰Ûª and enter your four-digit admin PIN Tap ‰Û÷Users & permissions‰Ûª and then ‰Û÷Add new‰Ûª Enter the name of your new user Tap ‰Û÷Done‰Ûª and enter a unique four-digit PIN for the user Enter the PIN a second time to confirm. This will be the PIN that the user will enter to disarm the system and unlock doors To edit any of the users in your system, tap on the user‰Ûªs name in the ‰Û÷Users & Permissions‰Ûª menu From here you can edit the user‰Ûªs permissions such as admin rights, remote access and assign door locks. You can also edit the user‰Ûªs name and pin To invite a user to have remote access to your system, simply enter their email address and tap ‰Û÷Send invitation.‰Ûª They will receive an email invite that will prompt them to create a password and download the Vivint Sky mobile app If you ever need to delete a user, tap on the user‰Ûªs name and scroll down to ‰Û÷Remove user.‰Ûª This will revoke the user‰Ûªs remote access as well as disable their door lock and panel PINs For more information, please visit support.vivint.com
